This work is never-ending spirals and whispered moments in time. It's heavy in content and light in effect. It's vulnerable and vague. It's getting to the end of a goal and starting a new one. It's reaching your perceived limit learning you have more -- to do, to give, to learn. It's thinking and feeling. It's knowing your boundaries. It's getting lost together and finding new paths. It's learning to name and control our fears and letting ourselves be weird and wonderfully wonky. Its' recognizing who/what balances you and helps you thrive.
It's remembering how important it is to keep cherishing yourself during those hard moments and how easy it can be to love someone who holds space for you while you find your way. It's the last piece I made to display in the show, Comfortably Uncomfortable (2022), on my favorite piece of paper I made in 2021 at Constellation Studios, about my world with my favorite person.
